What the online audio editor can do

Edit the waveform directly

Select any range with the mouse or keyboard, then cut, copy, paste, delete or silence it. Zoom in to place an edit between two beats, and undo when a change goes too far.

Process with real effects

The Effects menu has gain, fade in and fade out, normalize, voice noise reduction, compressor, graphic and paragraphic EQ, reverb, delay, distortion, a hard limiter, speed change, reverse and remove silence, many with presets. The six used most also sit in a bar above the editor, so they apply without opening a menu.

Record and layer

Record a take from the microphone (up to 10 minutes each), then open the multitrack view to line up a vocal, a backing track and effects on separate tracks before exporting the mix.

Edit audio online in three steps

1

Open audio

Drop in a file up to 100 MB holding up to 12 minutes of stereo or 25 minutes of mono audio, record a take, or, when signed in, choose a song from My Music that your plan can download.

2

Edit and process

Make selections, apply effects from the quick bar or the Effects menu, and arrange tracks. Each effect works on the selection, or on the whole file when nothing is selected. Save a draft to keep working later; drafts stay in this browser for your account.

3

Export

Use the File menu to export MP3, WAV or FLAC. The file is written on your device and downloaded directly.
