Commercial license

How Aimusicis licenses your songs for commercial use: yearly plans include it, one song costs 100 credits otherwise, and every license is signed, permanent and verifiable.

What the license lets you do

An Aimusicis commercial-use license lets the person or company named on it use the songs it covers for commercial purposes: releasing them under their own name through music stores, streaming services and distributors, earning from them on social and video platforms, synchronizing them with video, film, games, podcasts and advertising, and using them in work delivered to clients as part of a finished project.

The license is non-exclusive and does not expire. It survives the end, cancellation or downgrade of a subscription, and downloading it again is always free. It applies to the extent Aimusicis holds the rights, and the songs are made with third-party music models: if a supplier or a legal decision ever requires a song to be withdrawn, Aimusicis tells you and either replaces the song or refunds what you paid for its license.

What the license does not allow

  • Selling, licensing or giving away a song on its own: as a file, a stock or library track, a sample pack, a loop kit or a template.
  • Sublicensing a song apart from a finished project you deliver.
  • Registering a song in YouTube Content ID or any similar audio-fingerprinting system. The license is non-exclusive, so opt your songs out of content identification at your distributor.
  • Using the songs to train AI or machine-learning models, or to build a competing music generator.
  • Presenting a song as performed or written by a real person who did not make it, and spam or artificial streaming.

Who gets one, and what it costs

  • Yearly plans (Basic, Pro and Team billed yearly) include it at no extra cost: one All-content agreement covering every song you have completed, plus a single-song license for any song you choose.
  • Monthly plans and accounts without a plan can license one completed song at a time. A song's first license costs 100 credits; downloading that license again is free, with or without a plan.
  • An All-content agreement covers the songs completed by the date it states. Download a new one later to cover songs you made since.

What it covers, and what it does not

The license covers songs generated in the Aimusicis music studio, each identified by its song ID and, for a single-song license, the SHA-256 hash of its audio.

It does not cover anything you upload or supply: your own recordings, lyrics, voices or images, or output made from them. You need your own rights to that material before you publish it.

A license is a contractual permission from Aimusicis, not a transfer of copyright. Purely AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright, and AI systems can produce similar results for other people, so a license does not promise that a song is unique or original. A third party may still flag a song or claim revenue from it; your certificate and its verification link are there to help you dispute that. Platform rules still apply, including any requirement to disclose AI-generated content.

How to get it

Open Commercial license on any song in your library, or Licenses above the library, and choose All content or One song. Enter the name the license should carry (a person or a company), read and accept the terms, and the license is issued straight away. The Monetization page lists every license your workspace holds.

Each license comes as a printable certificate you can save as a PDF and a signed record. Its verification link shows anyone you share it with whether it is in force; it reveals neither your account nor your prompts.

Changes, suspension and questions

The terms version is printed on every license, and a license keeps the terms it was issued under. Aimusicis can suspend or revoke a license only for fraud, a reversed payment or a material breach of the license or the Terms of Service, and records the reason; the verification link then shows the new status. A license can be transferred only together with the business or catalogue that holds the songs.

Aimusicis's liability under a license is limited to the greater of what you paid in the twelve months before a claim or 100 US dollars, as far as the law allows; consumer rights that cannot be waived are unaffected.
