## What Send the Song gives the recipient

### Free

Creating a song page and emailing it costs no credits. The song itself is one you already made.

### 1,000 characters

The longest message, beside a recipient name of up to 100 characters.

### 2 ways to deliver

Copy the page's link and send it yourself, or have the page emailed to one address.

### 5 emails per day

Emailed songs per sender per day. One address receives at most 2 song emails a day, whoever sends them.

## Send the song in three steps

### Write to them

Enter the recipient's name and your message. The page greets them by name and shows your words above the song.

### Pick the song

Choose one of your finished songs from My Music. The recipient hears it on the page, with its cover, without signing in.

### Share the page

Create the page and copy its link, or turn on Send via email first. History lists every page you sent, with its link and a button to remove it.

## Send the Song questions

### What does the recipient see?

A page that greets them by name, your message, and the song with its cover and a player. It never shows your library, your other songs or your account, and listening needs no sign-in.

### Who uses Send the Song, and for what?

People who made a song for someone: a birthday, an anniversary, a thank-you or an apology. To put a song in front of everyone rather than one person, share the song's own link or publish it on your artist page instead.

### Is Send the Song free?

Yes. Creating the page and emailing it costs nothing. The song has to exist first, and making a song costs credits in the AI Music Generator.

### Why can an emailed message not contain links?

An emailed message goes to a stranger's inbox in this site's name, so links and addresses are refused there to keep it from being used for phishing. A page you share by link yourself has no such limit.

### What happens to the recipient's email address?

The recipient's address is used once to send the email and is not stored. Your History shows only its first letter and domain. Every email ends with a stop link, and following it ends all song emails to that address.

### Can I take a song page down?

Yes. Remove page in History ends the link for everyone who has it. Deleting the song, or a moderator taking it down after a report, ends every page it was sent on.

### What are the limits of Send the Song?

Five emailed songs a day per sender, and at most two song emails a day to one address from all senders. Every message is checked before it is saved, and one that breaks the content rules cannot be sent.

### How many credits does Send the Song use?

Send the Song runs in the browser and draws zero credits.
