### What is Key & BPM Finder?

Key & BPM Finder estimates the dominant major or minor key and tempo from an audio recording. The table includes Camelot notation for harmonic mixing, energy and danceability readouts, plus source playback and CSV export. Energy is a level estimate and danceability a beat-regularity estimate; a mood or happiness score cannot be read from a waveform and is not reported.

### How accurate is the key detection?

Most reliable on tonal, commercially mixed music. Sparse, atonal or heavily percussive material gives the analyzer less harmonic information, and modal tracks can read as their relative major or minor.

### Why does it report a different key than another tool?

Usually the relative major or minor of the same key signature - the same notes, read from a different root. Check whether the reported alternative fits your melody before overriding it.

### What are the Key & BPM Finder file limits?

Key & BPM Finder accepts browser-decodable audio up to 20 MB and 10 minutes per file. Select multiple files for sequential analysis; a complete arrangement usually gives more tonal context than a short fragment.

### Why does it read half or double the tempo?

Because both are correct readings of the same pulse. Halftime genres are the usual cause - check which one matches how you would count it.

### What is the Camelot value for?

Harmonic mixing. Adjacent Camelot numbers share enough notes that two tracks can be played together without the keys clashing.

### Can it read a track that changes key?

The Key & BPM Finder reports the dominant key across the file. For a song with a late modulation, analyze the sections separately if the ending matters to you.

### Can I use the Key & BPM Finder for commercial projects?

Aimusicis does not currently issue a commercial-use license or certificate. Download access is separate from usage rights; review the current Terms and confirm you hold the rights to every uploaded or referenced source before publishing.

### What should I do after using the Key & BPM Finder?

Metronome: set 30 to 300 BPM and a bar of two to seven beats, with an accented first click. It runs in your browser, with no sign-in and no credits. Random Key Generator: roll a root and one of seven modes, read the seven notes the key holds, and keep the chord path that fits. Reverb Calculator: enter a tempo, read every note length in milliseconds, then pick a pre-delay and a decay that fit the track. Frequency Generator: play a sine, square, triangle or sawtooth tone from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with presets and the nearest note name.
