# Account Security and Sign-in

Every control on the Security settings page: passwords, passkeys, an authenticator app with backup codes, active sessions, the 90-day sign-in history, connected accounts and deleting your account.

Everything that protects your account is on one page: [Settings → Security](https://aimusicis.com/settings/security). Changes that affect security ask you to confirm it's you first, with a code sent to your email, a code from your authenticator app, or one of your backup codes.

## Ways to sign in

- **Email code.** Enter your email and the code we send. This always stays available.
- **Social account.** Under **Connected accounts**, link a social account to sign in with one click, or remove one you no longer use.
- **Password.** Set or change it under **Change Password**; use at least 8 characters. Changing it signs you out on every other device. If you forget it, **Reset Password** emails you a link.
- **Passkey.** Sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead of an email code. A passkey works only on this site.

## Add a second step

Turn on **Authenticator app** to require a 6-digit code from an app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy after you sign in:

1. If your account has a password, enter it to start.
2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
3. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows.
4. Save the backup codes. Each one signs you in once if you lose your phone, and they are shown only this one time.

## Check where you're signed in

- **Active Sessions** lists the devices signed in to your account right now. Sign out of every other device if you see one you don't recognize.
- **Recent logins** shows every sign-in from the last 90 days, newest first: the device, where it came from, when, and how you signed in.

If a sign-in looks wrong, sign out of the other devices, change your password if you have one, and turn on the authenticator app.

## Delete your account

**Delete Account** permanently removes your account and everything in it, and it cannot be undone. An active subscription is canceled first. We email you a confirmation link, and nothing is deleted until you click it.
